Special Visitors!

Last week Eric, Kristi, Colton, Garrett and Jenna drove out from California to visit.  Eric, Kristi and Colton were here in 2008, Eric and Kristi were here in 2009 and Eric, Kristi and Jenna were here in 2010 -- they had a really good streak going there for awhile!  Eric and Chip were talking and Eric was sad that it had been years since they had been out and sad that they had never met Dani, so they packed up the family and drove out to stay with us on Chip's days off!  It meant the world to us that they would do that.  They got here Tuesday afternoon and the kids hit it off immediately.  Lily and Jenna are only a month apart, so they became fast friends and Dani LOVED "the brothers" as she called them.  We hung out on Tuesday, chatted, caught up, went to dinner, went by Top Golf and came home to relax.  Everyone was pretty tired (Chip from work and them from driving for days).

 This was Dani's first time at Top Golf and she loved it!!  She made me super nervous out there, but she had a blast!

 Back at the house --  they all spent a lot of time playing outside.

 Dani doing Colton's makeup.  They were such good boys --  they played Barbie, Minnie Mouse and Frozen with Dani.  Dani made Colton be Hans and Garrett was Kristoff and they even sang the songs with her!  It was SO cute.

 Making a huge glittery mess back at the tattoo station!  But it kept them entertained for days, so it was worth it.

4th of July!

For the 4th we went over to Beth and Adam's to go swimming, BBQ and then off for fireworks.  The girls were SO excited.  They are both happiest in the water and love to swim -- especially with their friends.

Look at Abby and Dani out there.  Those puddle jumper flotation things are SO awesome.  She just swims all around by herself.  She loves it!

 Scott took turns throwing all the big kids in.  They loved it and he got his work out in!

Dani even started "jumping in" from the tanning ledge!  I predict by the end of the summer she'll be jumping from the side.
