Saying Goodbye to my BMW

It's been 14 years and one month; 96,000+ miles and tons of fun, but it was time to move on and get rid of my car.  I LOVED this car.  It was cute and fun -- just like me.  :)  I got it one week before I "got" (started dating) Chip and it was sad to say good-bye, but it was time.  It was literally falling apart.  The windows would not stay up and were duct taped.  The upholstery on the ceiling was peeling of.  It had a good run.  It was a good 14 years. 

And Hello to my brand new fancy Tahoe!!!  It helped make saying goodbye MUCH easier! :)

New Hair

I was ready for a change.  It's summer, it's hot and 99.9% of the time I wear my hair in a ponytail or bun, so I cut most of it off!  I can't remember if it has ever been this short, but so far I like it!!  And I have been wearing it down and actually styling it more, so I think it was a good move!

4th of July

For the 4th of July we went to a party at Rhiannon and Ben's house.  It was a lot of fun.  We swam all day and grilled in the evening.  The best part was one of their friends brought fireworks and sparklers!!  I always hate that it's not like it was when I grew up with fireworks in the streets and sparklers, so I was super excited for the girls (and me!!).  It was really like the 4th of July!!

Margarita Taste Off

Because I am a genius, I came up with the idea to have a Margarita taste-off party!  Everyone loved the idea and my friend, Amy, set a date and hosted!  It was tons of fun.  I didn't win, but I definitely had the strongest drink!!  It was a fun night with friends.

Teen Beach Movie 2

Charly had a "Teen Beach 2" movie viewing party when the movie debuted on The Disney Channel.  The girls had so much fun!

Feverish

Sadly the beginning of July, Dani came down with one of her random 3 day fevers.  No other symptoms.  Nothing else, just a fever.  Thankfully, Lily had a sports/PE camp with Avery and Courtney, so she was able to get out and have fun while Dani and I were stuck home resting.
