Crazy

This kid.  I don't even know how to describe her silly personality.  She is too much!

She doesn't need the bandaid on her forehead -- it is more of a fashion statement that she wore for two days.

Fresh Air

One thing about Texas weather is that when it is nice out -- everyone makes sure to enjoy it!!  We do not take a nice day for granted!!  So we have been spending SO much time at the park and outside and it has been awesome.

Thunderstorm

I secretly think that as much as Lily hates thunderstorms, she really loves them since it gives her a good excuse to crawl into bed with mommy!  My little bed bug.

Mother's Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day.  Chip had to sleep since he had to work Sunday night, but I got time with my girls and then we spent the day at my Mom's house playing games, going out to lunch, eating ice cream.  It was perfect!

The girls and I painted grandma little canvases.  Of course, I forgot to get a picture of them.
Ice Cream sundaes!!
Playing the "Mermaid" game that Lily invented years ago.
Petting the turtle that Grandpa found.  They let him go at the pond on the corner a few days later so we can go visit him.
Pick Up Stix!!  The same set I played with at my Grandma's house when I was little!

Me and my babies.

Concert/Picnic

Saturday night we went with Carys, Matthew, Abby and gang to the shopping area nearby where they have free outdoor concerts on the weekends.  It was SO fun.  It was the perfect night, weather wise.  We ordered a pizza from Grimadli's and has a pizza picnic while we waited for the band, an 80s cover band to start!  It was so fun!

Dani and Abby loved dancing to the music.

My friend Molly and her family were there and Melanie and her family came by to find us.  It was fun!

Lily, Carys, and Matthew had a blast running around and finding friends.  So I don't have any pictures of them!

Sleepover!

Our first Friday without a soccer game on Saturday, we had Logan spend the night.  We took the girls out for pizza and frozen yogurt!  It was fun and gets me super excited for Summer time and more fun nights like this!

sister love

I'll never get enough of these two ...

Britney

Britney is still here -- 13 years after we got her.  She has lost a tail, needs daily insulin shots and pees on the floor right outside her little box, but she is still one of my babies, so I put up with it.  :)  Dani really likes Britney and she likes to tell Britney what to do. . . .  probably since Lily is always telling Dani what to do. This is like the chain of command.

Little Bikers

May is a SUPER busy month.  I've deemed it "the new December".  Between the insane amount of kid's birthday parties, end of soccer parties, spring parties, spring carnivals, end of school year activities, summer kick off parties, etc. it is just nonstop fun!  This was the same weekend as the last soccer game and my paint party.  We also had a gymnastic birthday party for Lily's friends Sasha and Vika, a Girl Scout event and Madelynn and Ben's birthday party.  I was too tired to get pictures at everything. :)  But here are Dani and Abby, the little biker chicks, at Ben and Maddy's party:

School Carnival

Friday night was Lily's Spring Carnival at School!  It was the start of a super busy, fun weekend with 3 birthday parties, a baby shower (for my friend) and a neighborhood Spring Party!   Lily had a BLAST at the carnival -- mainly because she just ran around with her friends like they owned the place (and I guess they kinda do).  I saw her run by here and there, but I had to mainly stick with Dani.

Dani was really only interested in three things -- the sno cones, the cake walk and face painting.

Her winnings at the cake walk.
Ta da!
Quick family picture on the walk home.  It was a nice evening!
