Today was a big day for us -- it was the first time I left Lily with someone who wasn't my Mom or her school! I actually didn't realize that until Chip pointed it out last night, but Courtney mentioned the other day that they were free this morning and would love to have Lily over to play if I had anything I needed to get done. I had been wanting to go to the Seasonal Mattel Toy outlet again since it opened last month. I haven't been able to go since they are closed on Monday when Chip is home and don't open until 10am the rest of the week. Since it is about 20 minutes away I would be cutting it close on a Tuesday or Thursday to get back in time to pick up Lily from school and she is too old this year to join me on my Christmas/birthday shopping trips. So I took Courtney up on her kind offer and Lily went over to play with Trent and Elise and I went shopping!! I actually got some good stuff -- Disney Princess dolls for $5.99 and some other fun toys. Lily didn't even care that I was gone and was kinda pissed when I came back to get her. I really had no worries since she loves Courtney, Trent and Elise.
All ready to go! I am loving the new fall wardrobe. I was getting tired of her summer sundresses! :)
