Princesses on Ice

Tonight Lily, Chip and I went to see Disney's Princesses on Ice along with Emily, Patti & Bryan; Hannah & Lori; Elise, Trent & Courtney; Carys, Matthew, Ben & Elan; Makayla, Jenn & Pete! Needless to say, Lily was VERY excited and it was a LOT of fun!

She wore her winter Princess dress that Patti gave her last year -- I was pleasantly surprised that it still fit.

We had a whole row and a half, since there were so many of us.

Elise, Lily, Carys, Makayla, Matthew and Trent all sat together. Emily and Hannah sat together in the row above, since Emily often gets scared at live shows.

These two sat very nicely through the first half and had a great time, but by the end of the show they were jumping up and down, throwing popcorn and kissing each other. They were having a little too much fun.

The show consisted of scenes from most of the popular Disney films -- Aladdin, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Little Mermaid, Mulan, Beauty and the Beast -- with special appearances by Tinkerbell, Mickey, Minnie and Goofy!

It was the most fun to just watch the kids watch the show. They were so cute and enjoying it so much!

The Sleeping Beauty part was kinda scary. It was dark and there was a fire breathing dragon. Elise was screaming, "I want to go home!". Above is Lily's reaction . . .

This is sweet -- she loves to help me cook. . . . aka, add the butter, milk and cheese powder.

She told me this was an "Ah-Choo sneeze man". Makes sense considering he is holding a tissue up to his face. Kinda weird, though.

I helped in her class the day they decorated these shirts. The girls were way into it, the boys - not so much.

I LOVE this! And it is laminated, so I can treasure it forever.

This made me laugh -- we spent all day cutting hundreds of people out of magazines for her class to use for this craft -- and Lily glues only two people on the paper!! She didn't even find the Taylor Swifts, Lauren Grahams, Hannah Montanas and Katy Perrys that I cut out for her! :)

This project we made at home. They were supposed to decorate the person to represent their cultures and heritage for International Month. The closest ethnicity (besides American) we are would be Italian, but I figured "Californian" would be more fun for Lily. So we made a California beach themed person.

Lil Gamer

It has been awhile since Lily played Mario Kart, but she got the bug again this week and has been playing every chance she gets. At least now she has a snazzy new gaming chair! :)

She has also rediscovered the cheerleader "outfit" that Paula bought her at the Dollar Tree last year. It is an awesome outfit -- I have to try to get a better photo of her in it. And, as usual, Britney has to be right at her feet.

Goodbyes

Friday afternoon everyone headed home. Linda, Scott and Jeremy flew back to California and Pam, Ashley and Shaun drove back to Arkansas. As usual, it was hard to say goodbye. But I know we will see them all again soon, so it is all good.

Lily and I stopped by my parent's house to say good bye to everyone in the morning.
