School's Out!

I can't believe that my baby is already done with preschool and headed to kindergarten.   It seems like just yesterday that I wrote a blog post questioning if I should send her at age 2 or not.  The last three years have flown by, but they have been so good to Lily (and me).  We both have met amazing friends at preschool that will most likely be in our lives forever.  Lily has grown so much, both physically and mentally in the last three years.  The program at her school was exceptional and she is more than prepared for Kindergarten.  It was all such a good experience and started a love for school that hopefully Lily will always have.  It is so bittersweet to move on to the next phase and all the Moms were outside of the class crying on Friday, their last day.  I was crying both because I was sad about her growing up so quickly and because I was overwhelmed with how proud I am of the young lady she has become.

It is amazing to see how she has grown!

She looks so grown up.
We tried to get a picture with Danielle, but she just wanted to crawl away.

Outside her school!

I took these pictures of her at the table doing her morning activity just like I did on the first day.  To see the post and pictures from her first day click here.
Danielle and Abigail at school -- the next generation of preschoolers!

After school we met up with nearly her whole class for lunch and play in the fountains.  We did this last year and it is the perfect way to celebrate the end of school and kick off summer.  The kids had  the best time.

It was pretty warm out, but I had planned on just staying in the shade to keep Dani out of the sun.  But Hailey's Mom, Elaine, who has a baby one week younger than Danielle had been taking Macy to play on the water and offered to take Danielle too.  I figured she needed to cool off some, so she went ghetto style in just a diaper.  Next time, I'll bring her suit!

Danielle was having fun!

It was such a super fun and exhausting day that even Lily fell asleep on the way home and that hardly ever happens anymore!!

Golf & Tractors

Tuesday was our last day with Aunt Linda, Uncle Scott, Jeremy and Katie before they had to go home on Wednesday morning.   It is always hard to say goodbye, but they will be back in August for nearly 3 weeks!  In the evening after Lily's school, swim lessons and naps for the little ones, we headed over to the golf course to play around. The kids (and Linda) like to ride the golf carts and Jeremy loves all of Grandpa's tractors.

Danielle's first cart ride!!  She was having a blast.

Lily wasn't a huge fan of the loud noise the tractor made.

But she liked it when Grandpa let her pull the level that raised and lowered the 'big scooper thing'.

Back in the golf cart!

Danielle's 9 Month Stats

Danielle had her 9 month appointment on Tuesday.  She officially has 6 teeth now - 3 on top (the two fangs and her middle left) and 3 on bottom (the two middle and the tooth to the left of the middle).  The last two to complete the 4 on top and 4 on bottom are nearly here.  There is a lot going on in that mouth!!

She looks good and healthy and is growing well, but she is still tiny and getting tinier.  Her official stats are:

Weight:  16lbs and 11.8oz - 12%!!!!!!
Height: 27.5 inches - 43%
Head: 17 3/4 inches - 80%

She's Swimming!!!

Lily is doing so well at swim lessons!  She is actually swimming across the pool all by herself (of course the only pictures I got are of her and a noodle).  I am so impressed and proud of her.  I think we are going to continue throughout the summer to help further abilities and build her confidence a little more.  But I can officially say that we have a swimmer!!

Just Because

Just because she is so cute and I can't get enough of this face!!!

See those fangs.

More Cousin Fun

On Sunday we just hung out more with Jeremy, Katie, Aunt Linda and Uncle Scott.  And then went to the play at the little houses and get frozen yogurt before I had to get my girls home to bed.  As always, the kiddos played so well together and had such a great time.

On Monday we finally got a group shot of the gang!

We tried to get one with just the girls, but Danielle just wanted to go play with Katie.
