Valentine's Day

We had a fun, relaxing Valentine's day.  We were all pretty tired from Carys' slumber party the night before.  Dani and I didn't stay all night, but we were there pretty late.  So we relaxed in the morning and then we out to dinner, ice cream and a little shopping as a family in the evening.  Just spending the day with all my Valentines is always perfect.

Pretty sure Dani is loving this holiday.  Little choc-a-holic.
As is the tradition, Chip got the girls Teddy Bears for Valentine's day.

He also got them candy and Frozen night lights.

It was a beautiful day!  So we had pizza outside, walked around and got ice cream.

My sweet Valentines.

Happy Birthday Carys!

This year, for the first time Matthew and Carys had separate birthday parties.  Matthew had a boy party the previous weekend and this weekend Carys had an all girls spa sleepover!!  They got pedicures, hair done, manicures (done by Beth and I).  They made lip gloss and decorated flip flops.  Rhiannon even had monogrammed robes for all the girls.  It was beyond fun!!

Beth did Lily's nails.

On the evening the went in the hot tub.

Dani and Abby didn't want a whole lot to do with the spa stuff, they just wanted to play.  But a couple of Carys' friends did their hair later.

Passed out.  It was a fun party!!

Valentine's Party #2

I was in charge of Lily's Valentine's Day Party too!  We decorated cookies, played Twister and Ring Toss and made a handprint tree with heart leaves craft.  The kids had a blast and said it was the best party yet!!

Lily's Valentines!!  They turned out pretty cute too.
We had different colored frostings, sprinkles, marshmallows, chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, m&ms, etc to decorate the cookies with.  The kids were in heaven!
Lily and her friends started out at the craft table.

Cookie time!

Best part of the day -- checking out all her Valentines!

Valentine's Party #1

Dani's class had their Valentine's Day party on the Wednesday before Valentine's Day.  Me and Kellen's mom, Alana, planned the party.  The kids decorated picture frames (I went in the week before to take pictures), had cupcakes and fruit and played games.  They were so cute and excited!!

The valentines that Dani gave out.  I thought they were pretty cute.

I rarely pass up an opportunity to dress up my little doll.
The girls -- Dani, Dhruvi, Cora and Mallory -- playing Ring Around the Rosie.

I made Love Potion water bottles.

Mrs. Marianne helping Dani with her craft.

The photos turned out SO cute.  I put hearts on the wall so it looked like the kids were blowing kisses or had hearts floating out of their hands.  I loved it.  They were a huge hit.

Dani and Reed giving Valentine hugs and kisses.

Playing the Crazy Hearts matching game.
And Ring Toss.

Stuffing Valentine bags.
For a class of only 12 kids, that bag was stuffed with tons of good stuff!!

And after we picked Lily up from school, the fun continued with a trip to the park!
