Play Date

On thursday we met Abby and Rhiannon at the park to play and have a picnic.  It was fun!  I didn't get any pictures of the girls, but Dani made Rhiannon go down the slide with her!

Animal Shelter

On Wednesday, Lily and her Daisy troop visited the local animal shelter to donate food and supplies.  It was their service project for the year.  They used their cookie money and all went to the pet store and bought supplies.

Belanna, Katelyn, Juliah, Breana, Lily, Courtney, Ashley, Sophie and Shira.

Still Sicky

Danielle's fever finally broke on Sunday night,  but we still spent all day Monday relaxing . . .  and getting into trouble:

But Monday night my poor baby threw up again (which may or may not have been due to a chocolate bunny she ate).  It made Chip nervous and he wanted to take her to the ER since it is better to be safe that sorry.  We off to the hospital we went . . .

She was so cute.  Too cute to be sick!!

Thankfully, there was absolutely nothing wrong with her.  The strep and UTI test came back negative.  Just a virus that was probably already on its way out.

Basketheads

The day after Easter was a school holiday (for kids, not teachers), so the girls has fun playing with the eggs, baskets and new toys the bunny brought!

Crazy kids.

Easter

Chip work until about 8am on Easter Morning, so he was pretty exhausted when he got home.  Since Dani was sick she slept in until nearly 9, so poor Chip had to fight his exhaustion and wait for the girls to do their egg hunt before he could sleep.
Dani finally woke up!!  Now, we just need to get Daddy up!

The Easter Bunny came!!  Dani got Doc McStuffins play doh, a Sofia family doll set, some jewelry and candy.
Lily got Monster High dolls, an Elsa wall decal and some candy!
Headed downstairs.  Dani was so excited and started spotting eggs as she was coming downstairs.

 Finding their baskets.

The bunny hid 95 eggs around the house!!  Most filled with candy, but Lily found $10 worth of money!

Lily and her candy and money.
 Dani and her Minnie jewelry.

They both decided to dig into their Sophia chocolate egg.

They also got a Sophia paint set in their baskets which was a nice activity since Chip slept for the whole morning and with Dani sick, we weren't going anywhere.

It was a nice, lazy Easter!

Dying Eggs

Chip worked Friday night and Saturday night this weekend.  So thankfully, Dani was awake and feeling better during the same time frame that Chip was awake and available to dye Easter eggs with us!!  It is always the tradition to dye them on Easter Eve.

I don't have a tons of pictures of Lily since she insisted on also going topless. :)
Dani was WAY into it this year and loved splashing the eggs in the dye.

She also wasn't afraid to just dive in and get the eggs out with her hands.

Ta Da!!

After dying eggs, Lily took care of Dani and tucked her in on the floor.
