More Cookie Sales

Lily had her first booth sales for Girl Scout cookies on Sunday.  The girls did great and sold 96 boxes of cookies!!!  Then on Monday (a school holiday), Lily and I went to the golf course to sell some more.  She did okay, not as good as we had hoped.  But it was nice to just sit outside on a beautiful day and take in the fresh air.

American Girl

Last year for Lily's birthday, Grandma told Lily she could get an American Girl doll.  We never went since Lily's enthusiasm died off and I really didn't think she needed such an expensive doll -- especially since she has never really played with dolls.  Well in the last couple months her want for an American Girl doll heated back up so we finally got to the store on Saturday!!  Lily knew which doll she wanted -- so that made it easier and we didn't spend all day going through the huge store.  She chose Isabelle, the 2014 doll of the year.  Isabelle is a ballerina / aspiring fashion designer who comes with pink hair extensions.  She is super cool.

Little Chip

Dani is modeling an outfit that was made for Chip when he was little.  She has just about outgrown it, but at least we got a picture before she gets any bigger.   I still need to try to get better pics as she was not very cooperative this day.

Craziness

Monster

We've been playing this game since Lily was about Dani's age where we all run around the house and jump out screaming and scare each other . . .. well, mainly I scare the kids.  The game has a name now, "Monster" and I am the monster.  It is everyone's favorite activity (except for Chip since we can get really loud and rowdy).  I love just running around and playing with them! 

Cookie Time!

It's Girl Scout cookie time again!  This year they are doing it a little differently and instead of taking orders we got all the cookies up front to sell!  Makes going door to door easier.  Last year Lily was a little hesitant about going up to random neighbor's homes, but this year she hit every house we passed and loved it.  I was so proud of her.  She was such a good little saleswoman!

 

 Dani had fun too . . .  riding in the wagon and eating all the merchandise.

Barbie Theater

Lily and her Barbies put on a performance for me last weekend. . .  basically it was Lily playing with her Barbies and making me watch.  But she loved having the audience and I enjoyed watching her show.

Sleeping Beauty

Sweet Lily was just so tired after a long week back at school that she just passed out during our night cuddle time before bed.  It's hard being an active, popular little 7 year old.
