Volleyball

Lily joined a volleyball team this season (and is still doing soccer too!!).  Her friends Harper, Caroline, Avery, Cora and Maddie are on the team and Harper's mom Christie is coaching.  So far she is loving it and pretty good for just learning!!  This may be her sport for the long run.  Plus she looks super cute in the little outfit!! :)

Her first game was Saturday at 8am!!!!!  I wasn't thrilled, but she loves it, so it is all good.

Harper and Lily

My little superstar!! They won their first game!

Happy Birthday Maggie

Friday night was Maggie's roller skating party.  Roller skating parties are fun since they are not just for the kids -- us Moms get to have fun too!

Lily is not a fan of skating selfies.
Sophie, Lily and Samantha

Logan and Lily
Julie, Jill and I had a blast skating.

Lily is getting pretty good out there and is much more confident!!  It was a fun evening.

Open House

Lily had Open House at school and she was so excited to have us come and show us everything she has been working on.  Thankfully, Chip didn't have to work and Grandpa and Grandma could come too!  We saw her class, all her work books and work and she took us on a mini tour of the school. I am so proud of her.  She is so smart and learning so much at school!  It's crazy how fast my baby girl is growing up.

She took us into the computer lab to show us her power point presentation on Thurgood Marshall.

It even had a "death map".  That was my favorite part.

Playing drums in the music room.

Finding her lego person she made in art.  Everyone in the school made one to represent themselves.  It was awesome!

St Paddys

We don't really celebrate St Patricks Day, other than wearing Green.  Lily happily went to school in a pretty green dress (that I failed to get a photo of) and Dani happily wore a green holiday headband to dance class.

But when it came to putting on a green outfit later in the day, she freaked out!!  "Green is not pretty!!!  I need pink!!"  I got the green outfit on her, but she added a few accessories to make it more "Dani Style".

Much happier.

Silly little leprechaun.

Snaggletooth

Just to document this moment in time (which has actually been way longer than a moment since it feels like Lily has had these 3 front teeth forever).  Here are Lily's three front teeth!! :)

Mornings

I love lazy mornings where we have no reason to get out of bed too early and I can curl up next to my girls (Lily was off at a sleepover this morning) and go back to sleep.

Mall Day

Lily has been begging for a mall day for months now.  I don't know why, but I really don't like the mall.  I much prefer online shopping.  Not to mention the fact that none of us really needed anything at the mall.  But I was feeling nice and kinda of guilty for not going fun for Spring Break, so I took the girls on an all day adventure at the mall.  We did a little shopping, went to the movies and saw the new Cinderella, did some more shopping, rode the carousel, had dinner in the food court and even went to Build a Bear!!  I have made it 8+ years without ever going into Build a Bear.  Lily used to ask constantly and finally gave up.  But, like I said, I was feeling nice and wanted to give them a fun Spring Break day so we ended the day with a surprise stop a Build a Bear.  They were pretty excited.

Yes, Dani even had a wardrobe change at the mall -- she got hot.

Lily said it was the best day ever!  Mission accomplished.
