SNOW!!

Friday morning, about 9am, it started snowing and it didn't stop until like 7pm!!!  We got about 3 inches of really light powdery snow.  Lily was already at school, so they didn't get a snow day, but there was plenty to play with after school and they even got to go out for a snowy recess.  But just because Lily wasn't here that didn't stop Dani and I from playing!

We recently took down the trampoline (since it was falling apart and getting dangerous) and the old pool -- so the two dirt spots really held the snow well! :)

Dani just wanted to throw snow balls, but the snow didn't really ball up well.

That didn't stop her from trying to throw snow at me.

We even tried to play snow baseball!

We had to take a break from the fun since I had volunteered to help at the school Book Fair.  But Dani got to play with Grandma and I got to see these two cuties, so it was a worth it.

SSchool's out!  Time to play!

Since we were already out and driving, we headed to a small hill on the other side of the neighborhood and met up with Courtney and some other friends to go sledding!!

Dani wasn't really into it.  She was cold.  In fact her exact words were that she was "freaking out from the cold".  I hate to spend $$$ on snow gear on the off chance we get one or two snow days a year, so we are ill prepared.

Dani was OVER IT!  So Lily stayed with Courtney (and Avery and Abby came later too) and I took Dani home to warm up.  Lily stayed out there sledding for over 2 hours!!  They had a blast.  So fun!!!
