Disney Live Pirate and Princesses!!

Last night we took the girls to see Disney Live -- Pirate and Princesses.  It is a live stage show with Sophia the First and Jake and the Neverland Pirates that was MC'ed by Minnie and Mickey Mouse with a preshow starring Doc McStuffins.  I was SO excited to take Dani -- When we took Lily at 2 to see the Sesame Street show, it was magical watching her watch the show.  Dani didn't disappoint.  She was SO excited just to be going and was talking in the car the whole way there how she was going to say "Hi to Reba" (Sophia) and "Hi to Minnie Bow" (Minnie Mouse) and "Hi to Doc" and "Hi to Pirate Jake"!  I was a little afraid she'd clam up once we got there since she is normally afraid of characters and larger than life type people, but she was SO into it!!  She probably would have rushed the stage if I let her.

Already dancing in anticipation!

 Look!
 The gang.

The big kids got cotton candy with Jake hats.
Dani and Abby got cotton candy with Sophia crowns.

 DOC!!

 "Hi Doc!"

Dani and Abby were up and dancing most of the show.  They were having so much fun!

She loved every second of it!  It was awesome!!!

She was still talking about it when we got home and I got extra big hugs as we were getting ready for bed!

New Year's Tree!

Thanks to Pinterest, I got the idea to have a New Year's Eve tree!  We are going to host NYE this year since Chip still isn't feeling up to going out all night and rather be comfy at home.  So it was the perfect time to stock up on dollar store decorations and ring in 2014!!   It's always bittersweet taking the Christmas ornaments down, but it made it a little easier knowing we'd get to decorate the tree again!

Sleepover

Lily finally got bored on Saturady afternoon after one fill day (Friday) of staying at home and playing with her new toys.  So we asked Sophie to come over and play . . .  which turned into a sleepover!  Sophie's first ever sleepover!  Of course they girls had a blast and didn't much sleep!

Shopping Diva

Just another day at Target.

Massage

Ah . . .  this is why I had kids.  Lily likes playing with the new little massager I got in my stocking.

Some Of Our New Presents . . . .

We've had fun the past couple days playing with all our new stuff.  The girls really like their 3 foot paper dolls -- Lily got Barbie and Dani got Minnie Mouse.  They came with crayons, stickers, clothes, shoes, and accessories to color and decorate! Fun!

Lily also got a "Flutterby" a crazy, spazzy fairy thing that flies and hovers above your hand.  There is a learning curve and she has flown all over and crashed a few times.  But she is pretty fun and is totally keeping  the girls entertained.

Dani got a Minnie Mouse decal decoration for her room.  It's bigger than her and she LOVES having "Minnie Bow" there with her.  She is so sweet.

Christmas Easel

Dani got an awesome new easel from Grandma and Grandpa for Christmas.  We have had tons of fun coloring, trying out her new stamps and painting!!  It's perfect for my little artist.
