Bye Bye Gallbladder

Chip had to go back to the hospital on black Friday and have emergency surgery Saturday morning to take out his gallbladder.  It was beyond infected and they had no choice but to do an open surgery.  He was in the hospital until Wednesday and he is still slowing recuperating.  The whole ordeal took a lot out of him, but at least that nasty gallbladder is out!!

We spent most the time hanging out with him at the hospital while Lily was in school and off at various playdates.   Lily didn't like seeing Daddy sick, so we tried to keep her otherwise occupied.

Long days at the hospital and all the back and forth wore the poor baby out.

At night we'd make videos and take funny pictures to send to Daddy.

Dani (and my) favorite part was all the free "ice cold water".
