Dani's School Work!

Here is Dani's school work from the beginning of the year.  They work on a different letter each week and (finally) Dani is actually really grasping and learning her ABCs!

Dani never minds going to Lily's sporting events because she always has friends there to play with.  This week at volleyball she had Abby and Ella!

Taste Challenge

We had some friends over Friday night and the kids (big kids) decided to do a "taste challenge".  They filmed themselves trying spoonfuls of mayonnaise, ketchup, salsa, ranch, garlic, parmesan cheese, chocolate syrup  . . . basically whatever they found in the refrigerator.  They had fun.  No one barfed or got a stomach ache, so I guess it was a success!!  :)

Dani

Remember in an earlier post how I said Dani likes to wear ears and such on her head??  Well this is a typical day with Dani.  Seriously in 24 hours she wore all three outfits, picked out by herself all with a different head piece.  I love this crazy character!!

Yesterland Farm

Since the last pumpkin patch was kind of a let down, we decided to dive an hour+ to Canton to check out Yesterland Farms which came highly recommended by Dani's preschool teacher Ms Nancy.  

Of course, I now know that no trip down the I20 is complete without stopping at Buc-ee's and I couldn't wait to introduce Chip to this Texas tradition.  Which was kind of a huge mistake -- he is worse that I am and loaded up on WAY to many snacks and crap!! :)

We made it!

It is a huge farm, which is actually more of a Christmas tree farm, but they have a fall festival and fill it with pumpkins.  Behind Lily is the main food area where they are smoking meat, making funnel cakes and all kinds of yummy food and treats!

The girls went mining for gems!  They LOVED it and are still checking out and playing with their treasure.

There were tons of little rides and fun stuff too.

And a 3 acre corn maze!!

We did a scavenger hunt inside for signs and checked them off the list -- we didn't quite find them all.
