Aquatic Center!

Last summer going to the Frisco Aquatic Center was a favorite and I have been wanting/ waiting for a free day to go this year -- especially since they expanded the lazy river, added a new water slide and new kids area.   We finally made plans to go with friends on Friday, but then when we were trying to figure out what to do with Chip on his day off on Thursday we decided to go there too!!  Two days in a row of water park fun.  Just what we needed to get over our lazy river with drawls from Hawaii. 

Lily was kinda scared of this one.  But I went first and tried it out.  It was fun and not scary, so I convinced her to give it a try!  So proud of her!!

Sister Sleepover

In an attempt to maybe get one night of decent, kid free sleep I let the girls have a sleepover in Lily's room!  They were so cute and so excited.  . . .  And both still ended up in our bed by morning.  

Sleepovers

As I've mentioned in a previous post.  Literally everyday this summer Lily has had a playdate or sleepover with one friend or another.  Here are a couple pictures from sleepovers at our house. . .

Popsiscles

I feel like this summer we have had SO much fun doing tons of big stuff, that we haven't had a lot of time for the small, simple stuff.  So we made homemade popsicles.  The girls we so excited.  We just froze Capri Sun that we had in the panty and Dani added fruit snacks to hers.

Bed Bugs

The girls, Dani especially, got so use to sleeping with me every night on vacation that now she manages to sneak in and crawl into bed with us every single night. Seriously, every night. Lily follows soon after in the morning hours which means I usually get pushed out of my own bed.  But they are so cute and cuddly, so it is all good.

Summer Fun

Seriously, since we got home from CA/Hawaii last week, it has been non stop for my social butterfly Lily.  Playdates everyday.  Sleepovers.  Concerts.  And lots of swimming.  She literally gets invited to something with a different friend everyday. I can't/ didn't get pictures of it all, but here are some. . .  It's a rough life.

R5

The next night Lily and I went on a date night to see R5!!  R5 is a rock band that consists of 3 brothers, a sister and her boyfriend.  Ross, the dreamy lead singer, is on Lily's favorite Disney Channel show, "Austin & Ally" and his brother Ryker was just on "Dancing With the Stars". They are all the rage for the pre-teen set.

We went out to dinner first!  Lily choose Mexican.

A Dj named Ryland was one of the opening acts. He just played popular songs with crazy lighting effects.  It was like a weird kiddie rave.

We had great seats for the show!!  And I have to admit, I wasn't a huge fan of their music, but they put on such a fun, good show that now I am a huge fan!!

She was quiet and shy at first and didn't even want me to sing and dance, but she totally got into it!!  We had so much fun.

It was the perfect girls night with my tiny Best Friend!!
