A few days after we got back from vacation we went to a real live Texas Honky Tonk called Southern Junction. It was about 45 minutes away, but so much fun since it was so different from what we're use to. We went with our group of neighborhood friends -- Tim & Julie, Matt & Cathy, Julie & Ben, Molly & PJ, Christie & Joey and Melanie & James. We'd been talking about going to this place from awhile and since it was Christie's birthday weekend, it was the perfect time. For dinner you cooked your own meat. They had grills, refrigerators full of meat and all the fixins'. There was a live band, line dancing, two steppin and a mechanical bull!
