15 Month Stats

Dani had her 15 month appointment last week.  I can't believe she is 15 months old!!!  She is still a perfect little baby (although, she is mastering screaming for things which is getting old fast.)  She is babbling like crazy lately and trying to talk a lot more.  She says "Mama" constantly.  She says "Dada", "HI", "Bye" she tries to say 'I Love You' -- It is more like"Ah la ooh", but I know what she is trying to say and it is so cute.  She calls Elmo, "MO" and says MMMM MOU for Mickey Mouse.  She has spoken her first sentence and said "Hi Dada!".  She really is just the sweetest thing ever.  She gives me the tightest hugs and is always smiling.  She is trying to grow up too fast and wants to walk everywhere and be independent, which is so bittersweet.

She is still a petite little thing (even if she can eat a whole pizza).  Here are her official stats:

Weight: 20.4 lbs -- 13%
Length: 30.75" -- 58%
Head:  18.74" -- 90%
I hated the fact that she was snacking at the doctor's office.  But that was a fight I totally lost.
She looks so tiny.

Wrap Up!

Sadly, Aunt Linda, Uncle Scott, Jeremy and Katie had to go home Monday morning.  It is always hard to say goodbye and Lily already misses them so much.   But here are some highlights from the week from Linda's camera.  It was such a nice week together and we all look forward to doing it again soon!

Linda got better pics of the kiddos in the leaves.

 Lily and Katie.
Tuesday night we went to dinner and the kids had so much fun running around the big Christmas tree at the Village (I forgot my camera, if you can believe that!)
Setting up camp in the backyard.
Visiting with Santa!  I was bummed I missed out on seeing them visit with Santa, but I am glad we got a picture of Lily and Jeremy with the big guy!

A Dickens Christmas

Sunday was our last day with Linda, Scott, Jeremy and Katie.  We all went to the Dickens Christmas Festival in downtown McKinney.  It was a nice crisp fall day and the perfect family outing.

These two are so sweet!
A magic train ride with Frosty the Snowman!

Tractor fun.

Rudolph!
Dani wasn't so sure about the big reindeer.

OK, I've had enough!  Get me out of here!!

Making ornaments.

Next we went to see the big guy!  I was about 99.9% sure that Dani would freak out when I put her on Santa's lap.  She is currently going though a major "mommy phase" and separation anxiety.  She did not disappoint and we got classic Santa pictures!

Lily asked Santa for a Nintendo 3ds and Danielle is asking for a Cozy Coupe car.

After doing some shopping, drinking $15 "old fashioned" soda and looking at the animals in the petting zoo, Danielle finally got to get out of her stroller and run around a bit.  She was so happy!

Totally Dani

I have no words.  She is too much!!

Mac-n-Cheese

Dani has been getting picky with her food lately and doesn't really want anything I've been offering her.  So I thought we'd try something new and I made her Macaroni and Cheese.  It was a hit!

I love this picture!

Mini Christmas!

Since we all won't be together for Christmas, we had a mini Christmas!!  It was fun and felt just like Christmas -- it is kinda weird now that it is still November and Christmas season has barely gotten started.

Trying to get a picture of the kids in front of the tree.
This is the best I got of all 4.  :)

At least Lilt and sweet Katie are cooperative.
Present time!

A awesome vanity!
Aunt Linda got Lily this great doll salon chair.
But Dani was convinced it was for her!!  HA!
(Chip made it out for Mini Christmas, but didn't get out of the chair too much.  His back was still giving him a lot of pain)
Lily opening the Harry One Direction doll that she totally wanted.  But she kinda embarrassed when she opened it.  It was cute.

Helping Dani get her gift open.

Dani loves her new doll house from Grandma and Grandpa.
Grandpa got the best gift from us -- a box of Hostess goodies!!
