Thursday was park day. We walked to the park twice -- once in the morning for playgroup and again in the evening soccer practice. It was a beautiful day. Only spoiled by the fact that I got my first ever bee sting while pushing Lily on the swings!!!! In case you are not aware -- bee stings HURT!!! But at least now I know for sure that I am not allergic.

Lily has missed the first two games and the last two practices and I think she was a little overwhelmed at practice. She just sat there with her hand in her mouth and complained that she was tired (even though she just woke up from her nap) and didn't know how to play soccer.
She was SO not into it. Emily missed this practice since she was out of town, I am hoping that when Emily comes back Lily will be re-energized and excited to play again.
Even though I got some pictures of her out there "practicing", she spent most of the 45 minutes practice on the sideline kicking dirt.
We were supposed to have a game today, but it got rained out. Hopefully she pulls it together for the next practice and is ready for the game next weekend. But she already told me I could "return her soccer shoes." She is over it. We'll see how the rest of the season goes . . . .
