Pumpkin Patch

Friday was my first full time day as a mom of two! I actually had to take Lily to school and pick her up! I have been so lucky to have Chip and my Mom to help with Lily these last 2 months (and hopefully longer) :). But yesterday Chip had to leave at 6:30am for a tournament, so I had to get the girls up and ready and then after school we had Lily's first class social at the Pumpkin Patch, so I picked her up and we all went to have some Fall fun.

Danielle was so excited to go to the pumpkin patch with all the big kids. She doesn't really have any fall clothes, but this outfit had a hat which was perfect for a sunny day outside. With that red hair and blue eyes, she better get use to wearing hats outdoors!

Feeding the goats . .. or puppies as they were calling them!
I didn't get any great photos since Lily was off and running with her friends the whole time. In addition to Carys, Matthew, and Makaya in her class this year she has new friends Hadley, Hailey and Justin which I am sure I will hear a lot more about this year.
Laughing hysterically after a goat took her whole cup of food right out of her hands!

After bed rest and the baby, it was SO nice to see Lily back in action with her friends again!
Hay ride!
Dani's first hay ride! She fell asleep immediately -- I may have to install a hayride in the backyard. Sadly, this is the only picture I got but we will be back at the patch with Chip, as we do every year, for more fun and more pictures. It will be much easier to take pictures when Lily is not so distracted.
Looking for the perfect pumpkin.

As we were leaving I asked Lily if she would sit with Dani for just one picture. She said no, but sweet Matthew said he wanted to take a picture with Danielle. I just adore that boy, so of course I was more than happy to get a picture of him with Dani. But as soon as he sat down with her everyone else just had to be in the picture too. Which worked out better since we finally got a picture of all the kids!!

We ended up staying there for nearly 4 hours and Danielle was fantastic! It was a great day and we can't wait to go back.
