Baby's 1st Cold

My poor baby had a pretty bad head cold this week. It was my first experience with a baby cold since Lily didn't get sick until she started school. I knew Danielle wouldn't be that lucky and I am just glad that she didn't get sick earlier. Poor thing had a runny nose, cough, watery eyes -- basic cold symptoms, but it is so much sadder looking on a baby. She hasn't slept well either. She is taking extra naps, so that is great, but doesn't sleep for more than an hour or two at at time -- even at night. I am exhausted. More so even than when she was a newborn. She seems to be almost back to normal and I think I have the Nosefrida snotsucker to thank for that. If you have a baby and they get sick you seriously have to get this! It is pretty disgusting, but it works SO much better than the bulb aspirator. Look it up, it is amazing. Since she is so much better now, so I am hoping that her sleeping gets back on track too!
