Lunch Date

Lily has been asking me for sometime if we can go out to lunch.  I've been meaning to, but Danielle has been sick and it just hasn't worked out.  But on Thursday Danielle was napping during Lily's pick up time from school, so instead of having my Mom get Lily, I had her come here to sit with Danielle while I took Lily to lunch.  As soon as she got in the car and realized that Danielle wasn't there she said "Can we go to lunch?!!"  And she didn't even hesitate when I asked her where she wanted to go -- "BJ's!", her favorite!

It was a great lunch.  We talked, told jokes and I had some nice quality time with my favorite 5 year old.

Once we got home Lily wanted to play with Grandma before Grandma had to leave.  Lily actually talked her into playing Mario Kart!

It was cute and really made Lily's day!
