First Day of First Grade!!

It is hard to believe that my beautiful little Lily is now a 1st grader!!  She is growing up so fast, but she is growing into such a smart, kind, funny and caring person and I love her so much!  She was excited to go to school, but sad to see summer end.  She learned the meaning of "bittersweet".  And it really was bittersweet to send my girl off to start another school year.

She had a great first day -- and first week.  She loves her class and especially her teacher, Mrs. Spann.  It is going to be a good year!
