Pearl Jam!!

On Wednesday October 8th, I got the kids off to school and then Chip and I packed up and headed to Tulsa, OK for a Pearl Jam concert!!!!  I was SO excited last November to finally get Chip to his first Pearl Jam show -- I've gotten him to take me to Eddie Vedder solo shows, but he never had any interest in PJ and always had me take friends.  But finally, he was coming around and excited to go.  But he didn't get to go since he was in the hospital with his gallbladder issues.   So when they announced the second leg of the tour for this fall and I saw that there were only going to be a 3-4 hour drive away in Tulsa, I knew we had to go!!  I mean, I am guaranteed amazing seats with the Ten Club, so how can you not go?!?  Thankfully, my mom and dad were willing to take the kids over night and pick them up from and get Lily back to school.   So I got the tix and a hotel room and have been waiting for this day ever since!

 At will call to get my tickets -- it is always a little nerve wracking not knowing exactly where the seats all, but they never disappoint!  I specifically asked for seats -- not the floor.  So we got some of the best seats -- Row B, in the section right near the stage on Mike's side.  It was amazing!!

 Our hotel was right across the street and filled with concert goers and there were restaurants all over for dinner.  It was perfect and so easy!!

It was an AMAZING show.  Great setlist.  Great crowd.  Easily one of the best PJ concerts I've ever been to and one of the best shows period.  It was amazing -- and I even turned Chip into a fan!!  After a decent night's sleep we had to pack up and get home to pick up the girls and get Lily to dance class (with a quick stop for ice cream on the way)!!  I missed my babies.
