Birthday Parties!

Lily and I have been to 4 birthday parties in the last two weekend.  It has been busy and fun watching her friends turn 6!   Last weekend was Caroline's birthday at the Young Chef's Academy where they made brunch -- omelets and cinnamon monkey bread!  This weekend we had Juliah's birthday Saturday afternoon at a Salon where the girls got hair, nails and makeup done and then got to dress up and do a fashion show and dance.  Saturday night was Matthew and Carys' birthday at a gymnastic place and Sunday afternoon was Natalia's birthday at a bounce house place. (Sadly, I didn't get any pictures at the last two) All super fun and all different!

 The gang!
The only party Dani went to was Matthew and Carys birthday!  The highlight of her night was getting a balloon.  It made her so happy!

Superbowl Sunday!

For the Superbowl we all went over to Patti and Bryan's house to hang out and watch the game.

Dani really wanted to wear a backpack! Once it was on, she was ready to go!

I had Dani wear Chip's old jersey from when he was little.  I have pictures of Lily wearing it too, but it was perfect for the big game and it made Chip so happy to see her wear it.
These two, Dani and Abby, were more entertaining than the game.  I could just watch these two play all day.  They are SO cute.  And you have to watch them constantly, since they are trouble.  We took our eyes off of them for a second and found them in the bathroom digging through drawers and flossing!!  It was hilarious.

 Bff's

Only 1.5 and 2 years old and already glued to their phones -- they are probably texting each other.
Trying to get a picture of Daddy and his girl in his shirt,

Dancing to Beyonce at halftime!!  They were unbelievably cute.

Shake Your Booty!

This is what Lily and I taught Danielle last weekend during one of our daily "dance parties".  :)

Tootsie Pop

Lily was playing at Grandma's house on Saturday afternoon, so Danielle and I were playing in the toy kitchen in the front room.  Well she wandered off and found Lily's pail of Halloween candy in the pantry (which could probably be thrown away at this point).  She grabbed all the suckers and was thrilled.

She just looked SO cute running around with hand fulls of candy.  Her hair was messy and in her eyes, so I just pulled it up.  I think she looked like Cindy Lou Who!

Trying to eat through the paper.
So I figured I better just take the paper off and let her go at it.

Lily does not like suckers or lollipops at all.  Dani LOVED it!

She was so cute.  She nearly got all the way down to the tootsie roll before she was done.  She was suck a sticky mess, but so happy!

Hockey Game

Friday night we took the big kids to the local minor league hockey game.  It was a fun night out -- I don't think Lily got a whole lot out of it, as far as the sport of hockey goes, but she had a blast with her friends!

The kids -- Madelyn, Emily, Carys, Lily, Ben, Matthew and Matthew's friend Danny.

Lily jumping up and down when the Americans made a goal!!
But they were even more excited when the blimp flew around dropping coupons.
You can't see it too well, but they are waving at themselves on the big screen across the way!!  We made it on the TV a few times!!

My Sweet Girls

I know I say it at least once a week in this blog, but I love how these two play and get along.  They are the sweetest!!

Not sure what they are doing here, but they are cute!

Cookie Face

The girls got cookie samples at the market -- M&M cookies.  Dani was just working hard to eat the candy off the top.  I think she like chocolate.

Birthday Book

At Lily's school you can buy a library book in the student's name for their birthday.  I think it is a great way to expand the library and raise money.  Most of the books Lily checks out have been donated in honor of someone's birthday.  Lily got her book last week.  She got to pick out the book (out of a few choices) and she has her name and picture on the front page.  It will be there for years for all kids to enjoy.  She was the first person to check it out and she also got to help with the morning announcements on the day it was donated to the library.  I had no idea about the announcements, or I would have gone to the school to watch (they are on video throughout the campus).  She was so excited!!
