Even Super-er Sunday!

Sunday I went with my Dad to the Dallas Cowboys vs San Francisco 49ers game!  It was the first ever NFL game for both of us.  We had great seats -- in the silver suites section.  Unfortunately the Cowboys lost.  Big time.  Terrible game.  But it was still fun to be there and see it in person!

Our section was so fancy that they had big name alumni there taking pictures and signing autographs before the game.  Of course I had no idea at the time that this was Jay Novacek or I would have gotten in line and got a picture.  Chip was pretty disappointed in me.

These guys (who looked and acted a lot like the Maverick Maniacs) were in front of us and got on the fan cam a lot.  It's too bad the Cowboys didn't have a better game -- I bet they would have been a lot of fun!

Me and my rally towel.  Poor thing didn't get much use.

Super Saturday

It was another fun weekend.  Friday night Lily had soccer practice and Saturday was her first game (which I of course forgot my camera for.)  After the practice and game we went out to eat with Carys, Abby, Matthew, Emily and their parents.  Needless to say, the kids had a blast.  Then on Saturday evening Abby came over to play while Matthew had a soccer tournament.

I have no idea why people think these two are twins!
 Dance Party!

Finally got these two under control!! :)

After Matthew's team won the championship, Matthew, Carys, Ben and Rhiannon came over for dinner and 90s trivia game night.  We pretty much wore the kiddos out again.  Dani used her school nap mat and just went to sleep in the middle of the living room!

Vintage Clothes

We were at Grandma and Grandpas last week and Grandpa found some old dresses that my grandma made for my mom.   So we dressed the girls in them!  They looked so cute in their grandma's old dresses.  I just wish I had my real camera with me and not just my phone.

We even found Grandma's old Campfire Girls vest!

Sisters

Just because they looked so cute in their matching "Frozen" nightgowns.

Dani's 1st Day of School!

I can't believe my baby girl is off to school.  It was so bittersweet packing two backpacks and lunches the night before.  Both my babies are too big.  Dani was SO excited.  She woke up yelling from her crib that it was time for school and as soon as we dropped Lily off (an hour and 10 minutes before Dani goes) Dani yelled "Its my turn!!" and couldn't wait to get ready!

Her first ever 1st day of school photo shoot!  (I should have done her hair earlier so it wasn't still wet for photos.  Oh well.)

She was so excited to have her own backpack and lunch -- and just had to have Minnie Mouse!
Complete with a big pink bow -- so Dani!

 Walking in . . .

In front of her class before the whisked her away.  They encouraged the parents to drop off and run since a lot of the kids have separation issues.  Dani was surprisingly okay, but seeing some of the other kids kind of upset her too.

She had a GREAT day and loved it! They went Music (some days it is Music or Art or Spanish) and she brought home her first art work from school. The teachers said you would have never known it was her first day ever.  She said she wants to go back -- so that is a good sign!!

Crazy Hair!

It is no secret that Dani has some gorgeous hair.  Not a day goes by that she doesn't hear that from at least 4 people.  But she doesn't always wake up with it so perfect.   It is usually as crazy as her when she wakes up!

She is too much!

Labor Day Weekend

While I had initially envisioned a relaxing Labor Day weekend after the first week of school for Lily, it ended up being pretty busy and fun!

Friday night Lily had her first soccer practice for the Fall season which ended a few minutes early due to a torrential downpour -- which I think all the kids had fun with!

Logan, Lily, Abby, Katelyn, Dani and Nikki

After soccer practice Lily spent the night at Logan's house and then all day Saturday was was a nice lazy day in pajamas eating popcorn and watching TV with Daddy.

Sunday night we went to Sunday night dinner with the Clarke/Evans family and then back to Ben and Rhiannon's house so the kids could play and we could hang out.

The entertainment at their house is fantastic.  Pretty sure this was a "Frozen" medley.

She sung, dance and played until she passed out and Lily stayed over for her second sleepover of the weekend!

Monday afternoon we met back up with Rhiannon, Ben and kids to have lunch, play in the fountains and get ice cream!  It was a perfect afternoon!

 Sunbathing and gossiping.
