Happy Birthday Ashley

Lily went to Ashely's 9th birthday party at Adventure Landing.  It was a fun party . . . but first we had to drop Dani off at Grandma's and Grandpa's.  She is dressing herself now from head to toe -- notice the stripped leggings, patterned dress, and backpack. :)

At the party they played Arcade games for the first hour, then had pizza and cake.

Then they got to ride the go-karts.  That's Lily and Harper out there.

. . . and the bumper boats.  Lily and Caroline rode together and couldn't figure out how to work their boat.

Harper took full advantage of their disadvantage and soaked them!

It was a fun day!

Fun, Football, Friends

It's football season which means lots of Saturdays and some Sundays with friends watching football games! This particular Sat night we were at Avery and Ella's house with Harper, Brenden, Tenley and Jackson!

(Harper has in weird Halloween eyes -- she doesn't normally look like that.:))

Sports Saturday

As most our Saturdays in the fall go -- they are filled with 2 soccer games and a volleyball game!  Dani's soccer team is undefeated and she has made at least one (usually more) goal per game!!  Lily's soccer team has not won and hardly made any goals (even as a team), but most the girls are just having fun so it is all good to me!  Lily's volleyball team is great and improving so much!!  She loves it.  They are one of the better teams and those games are so fun!!

Goal!

Goal!

Lily's PE Teacher Coach K came to watch their volleyball game!!

Cabbage Plant

All the third graders brought a cabbage plant home from school that they had to plant and take care of.  (I hate homework assignments that give me work to do!)  So I bought a pot, soil, etc and we planted it!  It's doing shocking well, (knock on wood).

Lemonade Stand

Lily and Charly wanted to have a lemonade stand after school.  Sweet Lily, wanted to donate the money she made so I suggested that she donated it to Charly's mom, Molly, who is raising money for the upcoming breast cancer 30day walk.  We invited all their friends to come help and spread the word around.  They made $140 in an hour and a half!!!  It was amazing and I was so proud of them!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Chip's actual birthday was on Tuesday -- which is dance and volleyball day.  A busy day!  So we celebrated the next night by all going out to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa and coming home for cake -- a blue, football themed cake that I made.

SuperKids

We had Ella, Avery, Julie and Tim over to watch football one night -- little did we know that we'd have superheroes watching with us!

Happy Birthday William

Dani helped her friend William celebrate his birthday at the bowling alley!  It was fun . . . and interesting.  A bunch of 3-4 years olds bowling is like herding cats.  Of course Dani was focused and into it and wanted to win!

Vball Makeovers

Um girls, your sister's volleyball game is behind you.
