I had fun and maybe went a tad bit crazy planning Lily's animal print themed slumber party. But she was so excited and stoked -- it was totally worth it!
We had birthday cupcakes AND a popcorn and candy bar to snack on during the evening movie.
I found animal print duct tape to decorate the water bottles.
I had 50 animal print balloons and two rolls of zebra print streamers.
For dinner we had Chick Fil-A, fruit and chips.
I also bought and made animal print photo props for my homemade photo booth!
Dani loved my photo booth!
We had 10 girls -- Lily, Carys, Emily, Logan, Madelyn, Abby, Courtney, Sophie, Juliah and Cora who didn't stay the night (and of course, Dani who was with the girls until 9pm and had the time of her life!!)
Then we decorated pillowcases. Some of the girls opted to take off their shirts since we were using permanent fabric markers and they didn't want to risk getting it on their clothes, so I couldn't take any pictures of the craft -- except for of Dani.
Carys and her pillowcase.

After the craft about 7pm the girls got their sleeping bags set up, their PJs on and were ready to watch a movie!
Lily chose a Sofia the First movie to watch.
It wouldn't really be a slumber party if a pillow fight didn't erupt.
Dani made sure she was in the midst of all the action!
Most of the girls finally fell asleep around 11pm. Not sure when they woke up . . . I woke up at 8am and found them sitting around talking. We and a choice of donuts or a variety of cereals for breakfast.
After breakfast we painted nails before their parents came to pick them up.
It was SO MUCH FUN!! I had a blast and I know all the girls did too. They are such a great group of girls and I was so happy to do this for Lily and watch her have fun!! Can't wait to do it again soon!
