Summer Week 3

It was another fun, busy week.  Lily had theater camp, but we still managed to squeeze in some summer fun!  The week started out with a pool party for Ruby's first birthday!

Cake by the pool.
                 This ridiculousness.

After her sister's party, Sophie came over to spend the night. . . .

We went to IHop for dinner . . .

. . . and then went out for ice cream.  Dani really enjoyed hers. :)

On Tuesday Abby, Matthew and Carys came over to play while Rhiannon had an appointment.  Abby and Dani had fun playing Mario Kart.

On Wednesday Carys came over after camp to spend the night.  The girls had makeovers . . .

Spilled Cheerios on the floor and played with them . . .

. . .  ate Cheerios off the floor.

And got into all sorts of trouble.

Thursday night the girls and I went on an adventure to Sam's Club for dinner and shopping.
Dani REALLY liked her meal.

Friday night after her performance, Lily had a Girl Scout pool party and campout!  They went swimming, had dinner, baked brownies and then watched "Frozen" on the TV out by their campsite!!  The campsite was in the greenbelt space right adjacent to Brianna's house.  It was a pretty awesome set up -- with Christmas lights, a TV, etc!

Shira, Ashley, Courtney, Lily, Katelyn, Belanna, Christina, Breanna, Sophie and Juliah.

Lily called me about 10:30 -- she was a little nervous about the campout and the fact that three other girls were leaving too didn't help much.  So I sat with them and watched the movie and took Lily home at midnight.  I was a little disappointed that she didn't make it the whole night, but she still had fun!

And then there is this random cuteness from the week:

I LOVE summer time!

Theater Camp!

This week Lily had theater camp with Carys.  They did an adaptation of Frozen.  The girls were pretty excited and had a blast all week.  Every kid got a speaking part.  Thankfully, Lily only had one line to worry about and was cast as "Fang" the wolf.  I think she was a little disappointed, but for her first play, it was a good way to start out.  They had camp M-F from 1-5, but also spent time playing theater games and doing crafts, so it was REALLY impressive that they actually had a play at the end of the week and all the kids remembered their lines and did great!  I was so proud of them.

Camp Day 1

Fang, on Friday ready for her performance.  The kids were in charge of making their own costumes.  We kind of cheated and got this get-up from amazon.com. :)
Carys, The Winter Fairy and Fang!

Lily saying her line "I've never seen anything like it.  Falling snow in the month of June? Imagine that!"

So proud of Lily and her acting debut!!

Happy Birthday Grandma

Sunday was Grandma's birthday so we went over for lunch, cake and play!  The girls and grandpa put on plays -- mainly "Goldilocks and the Three Bears" over and over.  Dani really got into it and loved being Goldilocks.  It was pretty cute.

Goldilocks had to have a shawl.

I love these genuine smile pictures of Grandma with her grandkids.

Back to Goldilocks

Lily's play. . . .  not entirely sure what it was about, but Dani played the roll of "Glitter Bunny"

Happy Birthday Mom, Grandma, Wawa!!

Credit?

Dani wanted me to buy her new "books" on her Disney Storyteller app.  You have to buy credits to purchase books.  I told her she didn't have any credit and that I didn't have any credit.  Next thing I know, she is back with my wallet, pulls out a credit card and goes, "here ya go!".  So of course I had to buy her some credits for books.  She is too cute and smart!!
