Danielle's 1 year Stats

Danielle had her one year check up this morning.  She is a very healthy, happy, tiny little girl.

Her official stats are:

Weight: 18lbs 9.4ozs  -- 12%
Height: 29in -- 46%
Head:  18.25 in -- 83%

She is tiny, but growing at a good rate, so there is nothing to worry about.  She is just my itty bitty baby!!

Dani's 1st Birthday Party!

We had Danielle's birthday party on Saturday August 18th at 4pm.  I kept it relatively small and only had family and friends that are like family.  It was so special that Linda, Jeremy and Katie were in town to help celebrate!!  Of course, Grandma and Grandpa were there as well as Rhiannon, Ben, Abby, Matthew, Carys, Patti, Bryan and Emily.  It was perfect!   I had decided awhile back (thanks to ideas on pinterest) that we would have an ice cream themed party!  Seeing that her birthday is in August and it is hot out, I though this would be perfect -- of course it actually rained on Saturday and we had the party inside, but oh well.

The spread . . .
. . .  I made cupcakes in ice cream cones!!
(I was pretty proud of myself)

Fruit salad in waffle cones!  Makes fruit that much better!

Dani's smash cake!
Ice Cream sundae supplies and toppings.

Instead of messing with helium, I just hung the balloons from the ceiling!  (thanks pinterest!)

The favors were ice cream bowls and spoons filled with candies and crackers (depending on the kid).
The birthday girl even had an ice cream party dress!

Peek a boo!

"Smiling" for the camera.
Both my girls are crazy.

Dani being Dani!

Chilling with Daddy, waiting for the party to start.
Since it was Danielle's birthday, we ordered her favorite food -- pizza!!  She ate a whole big piece (and had another whole piece later on!)

Lily, Emily and Carys

Cake Time!!  I am SO beyond upset with myself.  In all the excitement, I forgot to video her birthday.  So, I am posting all the photos of her and her cake.  She was SO cute and while she didn't eat much of the cake, she did a decent job of smashing it.
Happy Birthday dear Danielle!

She started out so dainty.

The big kids were rooting on her yelling "smash it!  smash it!  smash it!"

She was having fun.  It was the best feeling to watch her enjoy herself so much on her special day!

Then she was over it and done.
One last taste.
Then, like any daughter of mine, she quickly turned her attention to the big pile of presents -- complete with a new wagon from Grandpa and Grandma!

Abby held onto that ice cream cupcake for the longest time.  It was so cute and funny!
Present time!

Clothes from the Evans

Pajamas from Grandma & Grandpa
A new Princess ride on from Grandpa & Grandma!  She was SO excited!

A new baby doll stroller from Mommy and Daddy.
An iphone monkey from the Dillons.

A picnic basket from Lily.

She was truly having a blast opening her presents and seeing all the new toys.  It is just amazing how much she has grown and what a fun little person she has become.  It was a magical evening!  I loved it and I know she did too!

A new castle and ballerina doll from Aunt Linda, Uncle Scott, Jeremy and Katie!

A learning turtle toy from Mommy and Daddy.
Climbing on the toys was almost more fun that opening them!

Wow!  A new doll!
Mommy and Daddy also got her a ball popper which I knew she would love and I was right!

All the kids loved the popper!

Look, a ball!

Abby gave her a ride on her new car . . .
 . . . woah Abby, too fast!

That's better!

By far her favorite toy is the new car.  She was obsessed with this thing and literally got on and off of it for hours.  In fact, our friends stayed over till 11:30 at night and all the kids -- Dani included stayed up and played.  She was having too much fun to go to sleep!

First thing the next morning, she was back on her car!
Happy Birthday to my beautiful, magical, wonderful Danielle!  Thanks for all the joy you bring into our lives!
