Spring Break Playdates

We did make sure Lily had some playdates over Spring Break.  She slept over at Logan's twice, slept over at Cora's and had Avery over to spend the night.  Of course, Dani couldn't go a whole week without Abby, so we had Abby over to play one day too.

Old Dollys and Trucks

After we went to Los Rios my dad took us to see one of the two houses he bought to flip.  His current projects!  I had a blast from the past seeing a dolly. It may be weird, but I haven't seen one of these in years and I remember having them around when I was little and getting rides up and down the driveway at my grandma and grandpa's house.  So I immediately made Lily get on so I could push her around.  She loved it.  Dani was more scared and hesitant, but Lily couldn't get enough.  It was fun!

Then we saw Justin out front -- Linda's old truck.  I thought Justin died years ago, so the girls got in and we took pictures to send to Aunt Linda.

Los Rios

Technically, we are on Spring Break!!  We're not doing anything exciting, unless you count sleeping in and laying low exciting (which, actually, I kind of do).  On Tuesday we had a day of errands -- which included getting passports for all 4 of us (finally!!) and stopping by the golf course to say bye.  On April 1st, 7 years to the day of taking it over my dad will pass the torch to someone else.  Technically, he sold it to the city and has a 5+ year lease, but he decided he didn't even want that and it was time to move on to other things.  It is bittersweet for sure, but it was always more of a headache than not.  But I'll always love this place since it brought us here to Texas which I really think was a great move for our family.  So, we went to grab some souvenirs and take some pictures and get one last snack from the snack bar.
