More Swim Lessons
Since Lily has a few camps this summer, Dani is taking daily swim lessons for 2 weeks. I am SO amazed and proud of her -- she skipped a level and is swimming for 10 seconds on her own, holding her breath and everything. Look at her in that pic underwater, just swimming away! Crazy!!

Father's Day
Sadly, I didn't get a lot of pictures of Father's Day and I didn't get a single picture of the girls with Chip. I know it seems like I still take a zillion pictures, but I have been slacking, obviously!! We spent the day at the mall so grandma could get a new ipad and Lily could score new shoes. We shopped, had lunch and the girls and Grandpa rode the carousel.
After the mall we went to the movies to see "Inside Out". It was a perfect, fun day with family.

Neighborhood "Spring" Party
With all that record breaking rain in May (that I've mentioned in previous posts), our annual neighborhood party got postponed to June. But it ended up being a nice cool, cloudy June day and it was perfect! Every year the neighborhood party gets better and better as we meet new people and make new friends and as the girls get older and just run off and have fun (Dani not so much yet, but I gave her a little more freedom this year -- it helps when you pretty much know everyone there and everyone is looking out for everyone else's kids). Like every year they had a train ride, a rock wall, bouncy houses and slides, Dj, clown, magician, photo booth, popcorn, sno cones, etc. Just SO much fun. This year they brought in food trucks which was an awesome change and variety! So much fun.

I think we had the most fun in the photo booth!!

Dani and Tate did the booth -- SO cute!!!

As the party was winding down, a rouge thunderstorm came in and we had to run in the soaking rain back to Cathy and Matt's house. It was a exciting end to a super fun night!

Little Scientists
I don't usually sign Lily up for summer camps, but she had some friends going this year so I thought we'd give it a try. This week her and Avery went to Science camp and she LOVED it! They exploded ketchup with baking powder, made lava lamps, did the diet coke and mentos thing, and lots more. They loved it so much that when Avery came over they went to a science for kids website and found other experiments to do -- including making a tornado in a bottle!

Mani Pedis
I had been promising Lily that we could go get our nails done together soon. Taking Dani (at age 3) wasn't really part of the plan, but she really really wanted to go. For her first experience, she did great and loved every second of it! I love having girly girls to have fun with!!
It's a rough life.

Friends
We've had a few fun dinners with friends, Abby, Macy (and their parents Cathy and Matt) and Courtney and Christopher (who belong to Melanie and James) this summer. I haven't taken a lot of photos -- but here is one I snagged one night while they were eating. Impromptu bbq's with friends and late nights are what summer is all about!

Lily's Dance Recital
It's crazy to think that this was Lily's 5th dance recital!! She is growing up so fast and this is definitely one of her favorite parts of the year. I think the dance classes get tedious for her, but she LOVES the recitals and so do I! I love watching her up there dancing, performing and having fun. I am so proud of her. She took Hip Hop again this year and did a cute routine to a remake of "Route 66". It was fun!
She was supposed to have her hair curled, which is not easy to do, but we tried.
My little hip hopper!!

They were awesome!!!
Afterwards we went to lunch with Grandma and Grandpa, whose new car was on the way, so we had to document this one before it was gone. :)
