Fun Run

Friday was Lily's Boosterthon Fun Run at school.  It is the only major PTA fundraiser for the year and they have been building it up for weeks at school!!  All the kids were so excited and Lily has been collecting prizes for her pledges (thanks Grandma and Aunt Linda!).  I don't think she really understood what it was, but she was excited nonetheless!

Chip, Dani and I went to watch and cheer her on!  They had two tracks -- one for the 1st graders and one for the kindergartners.  (the rest of the school ran at different times throughout the day).  They had a DJ and fun music -- it was quite the production.  They would even have theme laps -- skip a lap, walk with a friend, etc...  It was fun!

 . . . but she did it and ran all 35 laps!!  She had so much fun and said she wants to have a fun run everyday.  I told her she could do laps in the yard and I'd play music, but she wasn't too fond of that idea.
