Pumpkin Patch!

Another favorite fall family tradition is to go to the pumpkin farm.   I wasn't feeling 100% on Monday since I have been battling a head cold, but Chip was available and the kids were healthy and the weather was nice so we took the opportunity to get to the pumpkin farm!  It was nice going at 4:30 in the evening -- there were hardly any other people there!  We had the hay ride car all to ourselves and it was easy to let Danielle out of the stroller to just run around, which of  course she loved!  It was a great outing and I love that Dani is getting old enough to get out and have fun too (even though I would like to keep her a baby forever)!!

Three crazy pumpkins!
Lily was being weird and was scared to feed any of the animals, so Chip fed them all.  I am sure Dani would have gotten right in there, but we decided she may still be a bit young to mix with goats.
Having fun waiting for the hayride.

Let's go!!
Trying so hard to get a nice picture of the two of them together -- the last one I have is from last Christmas!!

Crazy Lily picked out her outfit -- she figured rain boots would be the best footwear for a dirty farm.  Pretty smart choice.

It is crazy to think a year ago tiny Dani fell asleep in my arms on this very hayride.

This year they had a new attraction -- a hale bale maze!!  It was fun, especially since it had it all to ourselves.

Dani loved running through the maze. . . .  so much so that we went through it twice.

Chip jumping out to scare Dani and make her laugh.

Time to pick out our little pumpkins.

The sun was in our eyes, so this photo opportunity was a bust.
One last attempt and getting a picture of them together -- another bust.
