Week two of Linda, Scott, Jeremy and Katie's visit was a little more laid back. Poor Jeremy got a fever Sunday afternoon which ended up being strep throat and was pretty worn out and tired. So we spent most of the week hanging out and playing -- which was just as
good. Quality play time is always nice! Here are some of the highlights from the week:
The obligatory cousins in a bath picture.
On Sunday (before the fever), we took the kids to Pet Smart, since what else do you do with limited time before naps on a 102 degree summer day?? :)
Nothing says fun like watching random dogs get groomed! :)
They were playing bumper cars.
Dani was taking pictures while playing. "Cheeeese"
Amazing how much fun Carl the blanket can be!
They even took rides around the house in the blanket.
Katie's faces in these pics crack me up!
Uncle Scott's turn . . . . or maybe not.
One night, after all the babies we in bed, Linda and Scott took just Lily out for dessert and shopping. She got nail polish and nail jewels from Sephora and ice cream at the Cheesecake Factory. Lily was SO excited -- you can just see in the picture how happy she is. She loves her Aunt Linda!
Wednesday we all went to see the movie "Turbo". It was Danielle's very first movie theater experience! I was so proud of her. She sat on my lap nearly the whole time and enjoyed the film -- actually I think she enjoyed the popcorn and all the snacks I brought the most, but she was good and quiet, so that is what was important!
Uncle Scott gave puppet shows from inside the playhouse.
Dance party.
Dani got early birthday presents -- Play Doh and a bubble machine!!!
While the babies napped on Thursday, Jeremy, Lily, Aunt Linda and Uncle Scott went to the mall.
Desperately trying to get a photo of the girls -- didn't really happen.
Saying goodbye is always the hardest part -- at least Dani was finally nice to poor sweet Katie!
Hopefully we'll see them again soon for Thanksgiving!!
