Tuesday morning Scott, Linda and Jeremy walked over and took Lily to the park. I decided to stay home since it was WAY too hot and muggy for me to leave the house. It has been one of the wettest Julys on record (since July is normally the driest month), so that has caused some humidity and I don't do well in humidity. They all came home drenched in sweat and that totally confirmed my decision to stay home. :)
After naps for all, we went to my parent's house to hang out and then went out to dinner at the Purple Cow.

After dinner, Lily desperately wanted to play in the fountains outside the restaurant, but we didn't bring her suit. So I let her put her hands and feet in and she actually did a really good job staying dry.
She was having so much fun!
Then it was time for the water show to start. It was a pretty cheesy water show, but Lily had fun since the fountains danced to one of her favorite Taylor Swift songs.
The best part of the whole show was the grand finale when a huge spout of water, over 15 feet tall sprayed straight up in the air just as a gust of wind came through and blew it sideways totally drenching a whole line of people. I would have been annoyed if it happened to me, but it was pretty hilarious when it happened to someone else! :)
