Our friends from Merced, Nathan and Katie and their three daughter are at the end of a 5 week cross country road trip this week and they took the time to stop by and stay with us for a few days on their way back to California. I envy them and all the fun memories they have made this summer, and I am way impressed how happy they are in the middle of week five on the road!!

We were all excited to have Lily and Laura play together and get to know each other better since they are only 4 months apart in age, but Lily was all about the older girls! We desperately need to adopt an older sister for Lily! :)

On Tuesday, Chip and Nathan went golfing while all us girls hit the mall, lunch and then some fun time playing in the "sprinkles" as Lily calls them.

On Tuesday night, the guys watched the girls and ordered pizza while Katie and I went out for gelato and to the Gold Class theater to watch Eclipse in style. It was a great girls night out and I hope she flies back to watch Breaking Dawn in style too!! :) We had a great time visiting them and it was sad to see them head out on their way on Wednesday morning.
