Christmas Day

After we opened all our presents and ate our traditional cinnamon coffee cake for breakfast, we got dressed and headed out to the Gaylord Texan to meet my Mom, Dad and Paula for Christmas brunch.

Dani LOVED it!  She got all her favorites in one meal -- scrambled eggs, strawberries, grapes, potatoes, pizza, and pasta.  She ate the WHOLE time we were there, like an hour of constant eating.

Lily didn't do as well.  They have an awesome kids buffet set up with pizza, mac and cheese, chicken tenders, PB&J, etc.  Not to mention breakfast foods.  But Lily didn't eat much -- she didn't even finish her cookies!!

After eating, we went to the ICE display featuring sculptures from the Madagascar movies.  Dani was SO freaking adorable in her big parka!!

Chip slid down too,  And so did Danielle!!  Dani went down the children's slide and had to go down laying on her back.  It was pretty funny and I don't think she knew what to make of the whole thing.  We didn't get any pictures since there was someone standing in the way.

While we were at brunch, it started snowing!!!  A white Christmas!!!!!  Since we were about 30 minutes from the house, we were in a hurry to get on the road home.  Thankfully we didn't leave any later since the road were already pretty gnarly. 

Both girls napped the way home.  It's been an eventful few days!!  I was SO proud of Danielle.  I honestly wasn't too sure how she's do without a nap all day.  But she was perfect!!
