Christmas Parade

Sunday afternoon Lily and her Daisy troop were in our town's Christmas Parade!!  It was a totally hokey local hometown holiday parade, but it was fun.  I walked with Lily and did the parade which was fun for both of us while Chip, Dani, Grandma, Grandpa and Helen (who is visiting from China) came to watch.  It was a hot day for December and the hour wait in the staging area was hard on the girls, but once the parade started everyone had a good time.

Lily refused to wear the Santa headbands I bought for all the girls (too embarrassing she said) and she wasn't into throwing candy to the crowd.  But I think she was just taking it all in since it was new to her.  If we do it next year I think she'll be way more into it.
