Pinkeye Part 2

Sunday morning Dani work up with bloodshot eyes.  We were up late at Abby's birthday the night before and she did not sleep well at all, so I wasn't sure if she was tired or it was pinkeye.  I have heard from may sources that breast milk in the eye is a holistic way to fight the bacteria.  Since I had some frozen milk left over, I gave it a shot.  Dani was not a fan and Lily though I had lost my mind!!  But after her nap, it was clear that Dani had the pinkeye that Lily had earlier in the week.  It didn't seem to be bothering her too much, which was good.  When I took Lily in to acute kids on Tuesday night to get it checked, the Dr said Dani would likely get it and they could just use the same medicine.  However, we were running low on the drops, so I called and asked if I could just get a refill instead of bringing the baby in -- I rather get the fool proof drops that keep squirting her with breast milk every hour.  Thankfully, they said ok!  So I picked up drops for Dani and since I caught and tended to it so early, she had cleared up by morning.  Hopefully this is the end of the pinkeye!
