The night out on Friday was only the beginning of my birthday celebration! Saturday night Linda, Scott, Rhiannon, Ben, Patti, Bryan, Sara and Scott came over to our house for a super fun game night. Game nights are my favorite -- we always have too much fun. Patti even made gourmet popcorn for the night . . . lots and lots of gourmet popcorn.
Sunday we woke up and went back over to my parent's house. It was literally the ONLY day all week that Lily was completely free to play all day. So she played there all day. We celebrated my birthday in the evening and hung out all day. It was a great day with family, the only sad part was that it was our last day with Linda, Scott, Jeremy and Katie as they were leaving the next day.
Eating waffles with Grandpa.
The beach ball provided tons of fun -- and we didn't even break anything!
(Dani's tutu kept falling off her tiny waist, so she just went without it.)
When I took Dani home for a nap, these two hit the pool -- their normal play place. It's so crazy to watch them outgrow this tiny pool.
I LOVE these pictures that Linda took. Just 100% pure bliss.
The musical duo at it again!
Lily stabbing Dani in the face with a foam sword. Good times.
Birthday present time! I got a mop, a cake carrier and a picnic blanket!! Mom is also getting some stuff taken care of around our house!
Notice Dani's finger that she is looking at?? Well, of course she stuck it in the frosting and was licking it. I had to hurry up and blow out my candle before she full on attacked my cake.
On Monday -- my actual birthday -- after school for Lily and Chip we went out to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. My actual birthday was pretty much like any other Monday. But after three nights of celebrating, that was ok. I got my favorite dish there, the Chicken Romano which come with a side of spaghetti. Dani had her own meal -- a pizza, but she would not stop snatching my spaghetti! It was so funny watching her suck up the noodles. She couldn't get enough.
This girl wants to try EVERYTHING and anything people are eating, It is awesome how she is so curious and willing to try different foods. I hope she never outgrows that!
