My mom and dad arrived yesterday afternoon. Lily was excited to see "Ga", but didn't really freak out or anything. At first she just giggled a lot and turned her back to her. Then she started to run around like a hyper little monkey and rolled around on the floor. You could tell she was excited, but wasn't sure what to do with that energy. Since then it has been nothing but Ga, Ga and more Ga. Grandma has to put her in her highchair, and sit with her, and play with her and get her water or crackers. "Mama NO! GA!!" I officially know how Chip feels. :) But it is nice that she trusts grandma that much and lets her do things for her. And it gives me a little break, so I'm not really complaining! I read an entire magazine this morning!!
Last night we just went to the supermarket and stopped in at a local furniture store since my mom wanted to see what they had -- she is starting to kinda look for some new stuff for the new house. But mostly we just hung out at home and played. This morning poor grandma had to crawl in the dream house and play with Lily! I didn't get any pictures of that, but I did get these:Lily eating her banana. Yes she is using a fork -- eating with a fork makes eating so much more fun! For some reason Lily wanted to sit with Ga on the bench and eat. I don't think anyone has ever sat there, so it was a different request. But she ate most of her banana, so it is fine with me!
Lily looked so cute and big sitting in that chair, it reminded me of the picture below when I put her in that chair to take her picture. That was March 27, 2007 -- she was almost 3 months old! So tiny! It is hard for me to believe that it is even the same person!

Love the comparison photos of Lily at 3 mos and now. I'd love to see Ga and Lily in the Traumhaus - I'm sure they had a good time!
