Go! Go! - cough cough - Go! Go!

I'm still not quite feeling 100% yet, I get dizzy whenever I blow my nose -- which is quite often. I am currently taking a break in between cleaning bathrooms. I got the guest bath clean which is important since my parents will be here on Friday. I am procrastinating cleaning my bathroom and the downstairs bathroom but plan on getting them both done sometime this afternoon. That way tomorrow I can work on the kitchen, dusting and vacuuming. I never really considered myself that great a housekeeper. In fact I often feel like I hardly do much as far as cleaning goes; but apparently I do way more than I think because when 5 days go by of laying around sick and not doing anything at all it is amazing how messy this place gets!! It is a bit overwhelming! So I am trying to take it easy and just knock out a few big things.

Since I'm still trying to take it easy there isn't much to report. Lily and I have just been hanging out around the house and playing. Usually with 5 days straight inside she gets really bored and fussy, but I think with all the playdates and stuff we've had going on she is welcoming the quiet time at home!! Her nose is still runny and she has been sleeping 12 hours at night along with a 3 hour nap (knock on wood) which is slightly more than usual, but other than that she is showing no signs of getting sick! She has, however, picked up some interesting habits, one from me and one from Chip. First, since I have been coughing a lot lately, Lily has begun walking around fake coughing! She wants to be like mommy! Second, since she spent Saturday, Sunday and Monday night with Chip and watched a TON of football (which she now is aware of when it is on and points to the TV and yells "ball!) she has begun walking around and yelling "Go! Go!" at random. It is hilarious! We tried to teach her to get her fingers in the USC fight on position, but she just kinda stretches all her fingers out -- at least she is trying! She has mastered the high five with every touchdown and between the USC game and the Cowboy game, that was a lot of touchdowns!

I don't really have any new pictures, but here are some from the last week or so. Lily was never one to really attach to a stuffed animal, blanket or anything besides mommy. But lately she has been bringing along a friend whenever we go somewhere. Here she is in the car with Mickey and Ernie:


Oh and in other random Lily news, she now is going downstairs by herself. Chip let her do it on Sunday while I was at the bridal expo -- he thought she did it all the time. She sits and goes down forward, just kinda scooting her way down on her bottom. I'll try to get some video soon.

OK, now I've got to go finish cleaning :(
