Computer Nerd

Lily is a wiz at the computer. It is so amazing how fast she picks things up. She can get on and knows how to get to the website she wants and play all the games. Her favorites are pbskids.org and playhousedisney.com. She'll literally ask to go to "pbskids.org" -- it is so cute. She used to only like to watch videos online, but now she is all about the games and activities which is great since they are all learning games. So not only is she learning patterns, rhymes, opposites, etc. . she is also learning how to use a computer which I am sure will be really really important in her life. She usually plays on the laptop and is a pro at working the touch pad, but still has some trouble with a mouse. Sometimes she just likes to pull up a empty word document and type. It is great since she practices her letters and will try to type her name. Thanks to school her name is the first word she can read. She recognizes her name whenever she sees it and gets all excited now to see words that start with "L" since "L is for Lily!" We are working on writing her name, but haven't quite gotten that down yet.

She is so into the computer that she now speaks in computer jargon. The other day we were waiting on Chip and he was taking awhile and Lily said "We have to wait Daddy is loading." Cracked me up!! Here is my baby hard at work on playhousedisney.com:

** In other news my blog posts will still be frequent and up to date, but will appear at random and sporadic times throughout the day now since I got a job! I've been looking for a work from home job that wasn't a scam and didn't involve telemarketing for awhile now and I finally found one. So in my free time I will be on the computer rating search engine results. It is actually pretty simple and interesting, so hopefully it all works out. Extra $$ is always nice especially with Chip applying to schools and will (hopefully) be going full time by the end of next year. I've got to get to work now since tonight I am finally going to go see "New Moon" with the girls tonight and won't have a lot of free time!! Yeah!!!
