"CamaOva"

We’re back in California! We finally made it out to meet my nephew who was born back in October. Lily was really excited to come to “Camaova” and see Baby Jeremy, Anda and Uncle Scott. When she woke up this morning the first thing she said was “Let’s eat breakfast, get on the plane to Camaova where I will color and put a pacifier in my mouth!” I think she likes to fly since it is the only time she gets a pacifier. As we were backing out of the driveway on the way to the airport, we discovered that our flight had been CANCELLED!! After a quick call, we found out that they had us on the next flight to the OC only 55 minutes later, so it wasn’t that big of a deal and we headed to the airport anyway since we were all ready to go.

At the airport watching the planes.
One of the advantages of getting there early is having extra time to shop and eat things like donuts . . .

and cheesy popcorn!

On the plane with her pacifier in her mouth.

We got the bulkhead seats so she had tons of room to dance around which was great at first, but for some reason she was tired and just wanted to sit. In fact, the whole first hour she just sat quietly without any entertainment while I actually got to watch the movie!!!

Eating her chips. I let her pick one snack from the airport store and she choose Lays.

Finally wanting to color some.
After this she decided to take a nap and slept for about 20 minutes, but woke up when she couldn't get comfy. That is why the bulkhead is not so good -- the arm rests don't go up, so she couldn't lay on my lap and stretch out. As we were landing she suddenly took her pacifier out of her mouth and started to vomit into my hand! I was shocked and yelled to Chip who had his headphones on. The guy behind me realized what was going on and started throwing barf bags our way! Luckily it was not as bad as when she threw up during the landing of our last flight and we didn't have to strip of her clothes or anything. My poor baby. Is it the plane and landing that makes her sick (like her Mommy) or all the crap she ate???
.......................

Uncle Scott picked us up and after a quick stop to get our rental car, we went to see Aunt Linda and Jeremy!

Lily and Jeremy
She was so excited (and bonkers tired) that she couldn't stop jumping! She just bounced around all day.

Showing Jeremy his toys. Lily has this puppy too at home and it is one of Jeremy's favorites right now.

Giving him his phone.

Gently touching him.
She was so sweet with him, it was cute. She kept trying to give him his toys, and hers, and I think she was a little confused as to why he didn't grab them and play with them.

Lily even got more presents! Great books from Aunt Linda and Uncle Scott!

Getting even more tired and punchy, Lily decided to play in Jeremy's gym.
Lily was actually asking to leave around 5:30, which is 7:30 Texas time and a long day without a nap!! So we headed into my parent's house, got a quick dinner (El Taco!) and got ready for bed. Lily passed out fast and slept for over 10 and a half hours, which isn't bad. I am keeping today mellow in hopes of a good nap and a little regularity for her. If we push it too much she'll fall apart before the week is up!

I absolutely LOVE the photos of Lily and Jeremy together! I remember how excited I was to get the first photos of all of our grandkids together - your Mom must be so happy right now to have both of her grandkids together in the same place. Sorry the trip was a little rough but it seems to be worth it. Enjoy your visit!
