Remember a few posts back about the Recycle Sale at school that the 3rd graders did to raise money for Christmas gifts for local kids?? Well this week was their field trip to Walmart to spend their hard earned money and buy gifts! I was a chaperone and it was so much fun. My group included Lily, Tanner, Ben and Samantha. Each class had $400 to spend and our group had $102 to spend on an 11 year old girl. We had a wish list to go off of which included clothes, shoes, movies and stuffed animals. We managed to get some of everything! I hope she likes it all on Christmas morning!!
Poor Walmart invaded by 85 third graders.
Some of our purchases.
It was such a fun and rewarding outing for the kids and myself. I am so glad I got to be a part of it!
