Finally, a room that is completely done!! Well, in all fairness it is done because I am not doing much to it. :) This is Lily's playroom. I love this space because we can play and make a mess and it is hidden away upstairs. No more toys cluttering the house! I just hung some cute valances that match the bins and toys. I am leaving the walls empty for now, I figure in a few years she can hang Hannah Montana posters up -- or whatever the craze is by that time!I got the little shelves with the bins on Target.com -- they are perfect! Big enough to hold a good amount of toys, yet small and light enough for Lily to take in and out herself.
I also got the book rack from target.com! We almost need another since she has so many books. But Lily loves taking the books out and then putting them away. She'll often get a book and then sit in her little Elmo chair and read -- of course, she wouldn't do it when I wanted to take a picture! And Lily picked out the cat clock on the wall. I was so tired of having to turn on the TV to figure out what time it was when we were in there (too difficult to remember to wear a watch), so I went to target (I already told my Mom there will soon be an Ode to Target blog entry) to get a clock and Lily picked this one out all by herself. She pointed and yelled "kitty cat" and I knew that was the clock we had to get!

I have always thought Lily slightly resembled you, but in that last picture of her sitting by the chair she seriously looks just like you did in your old photos. I mean, I think mom already has that picture, the date is just 1978 and it is in front of some Annie toys. I love the play room. Seeing all of your pictures makes me really miss you guys, but I am totally excited to come and play in the play room soon!
FYI--i called my sister and made her delete my last two comments because i am an idiot and uploaded the same comment twice (and had a disclaimer)... don't ask:)
