Neighborhood Party!

Last night was our neighborhood Spring party and it was SO much fun!! They had a clown, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, face painting (which Lily did NOT want -- her friend Ashley had a butterfly on her cheek and Lily constantly talked about how she did not want "that butterfly on my cheek!), a rockin DJ, bounce houses, volleyball, and tons of food!! Lily and I went about 6 o'clock and I was a little nervous at first that we wouldn't see anyone we knew, but immediately I spotted 3 of my friends, so that was great! The clown was on stilts blowing bubbles and Lily loved that -- the best part was that she was so comfortable and I didn't have to carry her or pick her up once (which is rare)! We had a lot of fun and the food was yummy!! Chip ended up joining us around 7:30 which was good timing since most of our friends had to leave then to get their kids ready for bed!! But we ended up staying until 8:30! I love our neighborhood -- we definitely lucked out and made a good choice when we moved here!!

The clown and the crowd.
Lily in the baby sized bounce house -- they had bigger ones set up in the tennis courts, but the bigger kids would have ran her over.

Lily's first sno cone!! Actually, it was my sno cone, but we shared. :)

She loved it!

A yummy Corn Dog!

They had Corn Dogs and Burgers from Sonic, as well as Chick-Fil-A and Papa Johns, but we ate kinda late and missed out on the chicken and pizza.

Now she is eating a hamburger! She ate SO much, which was great since she hardly eats much at all!

My little artist.
Potato Chips! She ate the entire bag!

Yeah, Daddy made it! Lily got so excited when she saw him walking up, it was so cute.

Watching the clown perform.

Cookie time! (I told you she ate a lot!)

Cookie time for Chip!

They also had 4 kegs of beer and tons of boxes of wine!

It was a great party -- I already can't wait until next year!

At the end of the night we went over to the big bounce houses since Lily really really wanted to go in, but they were still full of older kids pushing each other around. Lily was slightly disappointed, but had so much fun dancing barefoot around the tennis courts that she forgot about the bounce houses for awhile.

Finally a little after 8:30, we had to drag her out of there! She would have stayed all night, she was having so much fun!
