Christmas!!

He came!!  Santa was here!!  And he left the girls exactly what they asked for -- Disney Infinity and Mario Kart 8 -- along with a WiiU to play them on and stocking stuffed so full they had "overflow" bags attached.

They also got makeup, nail polish, candy, bracelets, necklaces, umbrellas, slippers, and tons of stuff!!

It's bittersweet that she is old enough to get excited about robes, slippers and scarves.

Believe it or not, that is the look of pure excitement.

After they opened all their presents and got basically everything they asked for and expected to get . . . dolls, makeup, a watch for Lily, sleds, games, a suitcase for Dani, pajamas, Doc McStuffins ambulance, books, shopkins, etc. . . . There were two matching presents WAY in t he back.  One for Lily and one for Dani.

My favorite part of Christmas morning.  Reveling in the mess and new stuff!

We got ready for lunch and Dani came out eating a chocolate "sock" she got in her stocking.  Little sneak.

In the afternoon we continued the tradition of going to the Gaylord hotel for brunch.  It is such a nice tradition and yummy brunch.

After we all came back to the house to play and show off the new toys.  Chip had to go into work and Mom, Dad and Paula went home.  After about an hour we got kind of hungry again and ready for dinner.  But Lily wasn't thrilled with the idea of finding something in the kitchen to eat . . . so we all went to IHOP.  On Christmas.  For dinner.  We were those people.  And it was crowded!!!!
