Monday was the last official day of Winter break and the day after Lily's birthday. She woke up a little braver and said she wanted to get her ears pierced. But she didn't want anyone else to go -- just her and me. She was extremely nervous!! They talked her through it. She was scared, but very brave. I didn't get pictures of them actually piercing her ears since I had to hold her hands, but it was quick and relatively painless. She didn't make a sound or even flinch. I think she was in shock. When it was over she said it wasn't that bad at all.
Before. She is looking a little pale (and just ate a blue sucker, which isn't helping the look)/
Checking them out after!!!
We went to pay and get instructions on how to take care of them when suddenly she started crying and going into hysterics. She said she was going to be sick, so I rushed her to the bathroom.
She didn't actually get sick, but she was SO upset. Poor thing! It was all over, but all the nerves and anxiety just finally got to her and she couldn't hold it in anymore. I got her calmed down, we went shopping and got milk shakes. All in all, a successful day and she is SO happy now that she faced her fears and went through with it. I am very proud of her.
