I had been meaning to take some pictures of the amazing fall colors here in North Texas. The last few weeks the leaves have changed to the most brilliant oranges, red and yellows. However, I noticed the other day that I had waited too long as a lot of the trees were already starting to lose their leaves. Then yesterday and last night night we had some major rain and that knocked a lot more leaves off the trees. So today after playgroup I noticed this one tree that still had some fall color left to it and I figured I better take a picture now or I might miss the opportunity. It was not the best tree I had seen, but it will have to do. . . . maybe next year I won't procrastinate as much and get out there sooner to document the changing of the season!
As far as the storm yesterday -- lot of tornado watches and warnings around the metroplex area. None in our county, thankfully. Although I was hoping to get some good rain . . . I waited all day for it to pour and then it finally came at around 7pm. Just in time to knock the satellite reception out so I couldn't watch my TV! Figures.
